A little bit older and all the wiser...Today some MNCS students were dressed in their best as 100 year olds in celebration of the 100th day of school! Several students and staff were in the spirit, dressed in fun attire as older versions of themselves. All are young at heart and showed us how great 100 looks! Happy 100th Day of school- here's to many more!

The cute puppy named Ginger made kids so comfortable and students lined up to give her a hug and hold her. It was wonderful to see all the smiles and laughter she brought! Last Friday, both Critter and Frog students had another special guest come and visit with the class! Students asked the Veteran all sorts of questions like "why did you become a soldier", "what was it like" as well as "what did you eat" and "what was your specific job in the military"? These recent visits hold a lot of meaning and students were eager to learn more about their service and experiences. Thank you to those individuals for coming in and speaking with us! To those who served and those who continue to serve our nation, we honor you. Thank you!

As part of our American Symbols unit, students were able to ask them questions, listen to their stories, hear what it was like, see the uniforms they wore, and view some pictures they shared with us. It was an honor to have these Veterans visit our school and we thank them for their service to our country.
